Natasha Johnson

Dr. Natasha Johnson serves as an Assistant Professor of Human Resource Management in the Department of Business Administration within the College of Business at Tennessee State University. With over a decade of corporate human resource leadership experience across healthcare and diverse industries, she integrates practical insights with academic rigor in her teaching and research.

Her scholarly work examines high-performance work practices, multicultural and multigenerational workforce effectiveness, leadership, ethics, organizational citizenship behavior, and organizational commitment. Dr. Johnson investigates how organizations can optimize human capital through evidence-based practices that enhance employee engagement across generational cohorts.

Academically active, she presents research at conferences including MBAA International and the Southwest Academy of Management while serving as a journal reviewer. Professional affiliations include the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Management and Organizational Behavior Teaching Society (MOBTS), and Academy of Human Resource Development (AHRD).

Dr. Johnson advises the TSU SHRM student chapter and holds Tennessee Supreme Court certified Rule 31 Mediation Training, demonstrating commitment to both scholarly excellence and practical conflict resolution skills in organizational settings.
