Natasha Case, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Saint Louis University, affiliated with the School of Science and Engineering. She holds a Ph.D. in Bioengineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University. Her research focuses on orthopaedic bioengineering, particularly articular cartilage and bone regeneration, emphasizing tissue and cellular biomechanics, mechanobiology, and tissue engineering strategies to enhance orthopaedic repair. Her work investigates how mechanical, biophysical, and biochemical stimuli influence cartilage development and repair.
Case previously served as a research scholar at Duke University School of Medicine and conducted postdoctoral research at the University of North Carolina’s Department of Medicine.
