Natalie Cyphers is a Professor in the Division of Nursing within DeSales University's College of Healthcare Professions. She teaches Evidence-Based Practice Research and Translational Research in the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program and serves as chair for DNP scholarly projects.
Dr. Cyphers earned her BSN from East Stroudsburg University, MSN in Parent Child Nursing from the University of North Dakota, and Ph.D. in Nursing from the University of North Dakota (2015).
Her research focuses on religiosity and health, trauma-informed care frameworks, secondary/vicarious trauma in nursing populations, and nursing resilience development. With extensive clinical experience across pediatric acute/community settings, adult orthopedics, medical-surgical units, and neonatal intensive care, she integrates diverse patient care perspectives into her scholarship.
As a DNP scholarly project chair, she mentors advanced practice nursing students. Professional affiliations include The Society of Pediatric Nurses, Nursing of Children Network, Christian Nurses Fellowship, and Sigma Theta Tau International (Mu Omicron chapter).
