Nancy Singh

Nancy Singh is a Lecturer in Fashion Communication at the Department of ACE – Creative and Cultural Industries, University of the West of England (UWE Bristol). She holds a BA (Hons) in Fashion Communication from Middlesex University, London, and an MA in Media and Communication from Goldsmiths, University of London. Her role integrates academic teaching with creative practice in photography and filmmaking.

Nancy Singh has been recognized for her artistic contributions with several awards. Her recent accolades include:

She is currently developing a film titled Kilburn in Motion, with screenings at venues such as Kiln Theatre and the Cultural Centre of Ireland, Paris. Her photographic work has been featured in Abridged Magazine and Phi Magazine, and she has participated in events like Forge Art Fair and BOS Brockley Open Studios. Her photography was also auctioned at the Shapes and Things Art Auction for Palestinian Aid, highlighting her engagement with socially conscious art projects.

Nancy's creative and academic practice emphasizes community engagement, migration narratives, and visual storytelling, positioning her as a dynamic figure in contemporary art and fashion communication education.
