Nancy Mpofu

Nancy Mpofu is a Lecturer in the Department of Hospitality and Tourism at University College Birmingham. With nearly two decades of experience in academia and the hospitality industry, she teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

• Academic Qualifications: MA Hospitality and Events Management, PGCE in Post Compulsory Education, BA (Hons) International Hospitality Management.
• Industry Experience: Held management positions at Best Western Hotels, Premier Inn, and InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), while also establishing her own events decoration and hiring business.

Her research focuses on precarious work effects on employee subjective wellbeing within the UK hotel industry. She emphasizes innovative teaching methods aimed at student engagement and success.
