Nancy Michael is the Rev. John A. Zahm, C.S.C. Teaching Professor in the Department of Neuroscience and Behavior within the College of Science at the University of Notre Dame. She has been a key figure in developing the undergraduate neuroscience and behavior program since joining the faculty in 2014 and currently serves as Director of Education and Co-Director of the major.
Research Interests: Her academic work centers on behavioral neuroscience, neuroendocrinology, and experience-dependent plasticity—how lived experiences shape brain structure and function.
