Nancy Kwak is an Associate Professor in the History Department and Urban Studies & Planning Department at the University of California San Diego. She holds a non-resident fellowship at Carnegie California and previously served as President of the Society for American City and Regional Planning History. Her research focuses on urban development, housing policy, and global urban informality.
Education: BA in History from UC Berkeley, MAT from Harvard Graduate School of Education, and PhD in History from Columbia University (2006).
