Nancy Hall is an Associate Professor of Practice in The Writing Program at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Born and raised in San Antonio, she brings over 15 years of public relations and marketing experience to her academic role. She earned her degree in English with minors in Communications and Mexican American Studies from Our Lady of the Lake University.
Her teaching philosophy centers on recognizing student potential to foster community and academic excellence. She teaches courses focused on academic writing principles including editing, research documentation, and critical analysis. Her courses emphasize multidisciplinary readings from diverse cultural contexts to develop organizational and analytical skills.
