Nancy Collings is a Part-Time Lecturer in Chinese in the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures at Muhlenberg College, where she has taught since 2011. She also holds a concurrent teaching position at Northampton Community College. Born and raised in China, she brings extensive cross-cultural expertise to her roles.
Her academic background includes a B.A. in English Education from Chongqing Educational Institute and an M.A. in Computers in Education from DeSales University. Prior to her US career, she taught English for five years at a secondary school in Chongqing.
Her professional engagements extend beyond academia to include interpretation services for regional courts and school districts. She received the Excellent Overseas Chinese Teaching Award from the China State Council Overseas Committee in recognition of her contributions to Chinese language education.
