Nadia E. Brown

Nadia E. Brown is a Professor of Government at Georgetown University's College of Arts and Sciences, where she also serves as Director of the Women’s and Gender Studies Program and is affiliated with the African American Studies Program. Her academic work centers on the intersections of race, gender, and political power, with a focus on Black women’s political engagement and identity formation.

Her research spans identity politics, legislative studies, and intersectionality, bridging political science with women’s and gender studies.
