Nadav Davidovitch is an epidemiologist and public health physician serving as the inaugural Director of the School of Public Health at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (BGU) in Israel. He concurrently holds the position of Professor and Chair in the Department of Health Systems Management at BGU. Additional affiliations include Chair of the Israeli Association of Public Health Physicians, and affiliations with Columbia University's Center for the History and Ethics of Public Health and the University of Illinois–Chicago School of Public Health.
His research spans critical public health domains with particular emphasis on:
- Social determinants of health disparities
- Ethical frameworks in health policy formulation
- Historical analysis of public health systems
- Migration-related health challenges
- Environmental determinants of population health
Davidovitch's work integrates historical perspective with contemporary ethical analysis to address health inequities among vulnerable populations, especially immigrant communities facing environmental and systemic barriers to healthcare access.
