Oren Kalman

Dr. Oren Kalman is an Editorial Coordinator and Deputy Editor of the journal Eyonim (Opinions) at the Ben-Gurion Institute for the Study of Israel and Zionism, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. He holds a doctorate from the same institute and a post-doctorate from the Open University.

He collaborates with the Azrieli Center for Israel Studies (Ma'ali) on immigration research.

Oren Kalman is deeply connected to Ben-Gurion University through familial ties (his father was a Mechanical Engineering researcher, and his mother a librarian) and personal dedication to its mission. He resides near David Ben-Gurion's grave in Midreshet Ben-Gurion, drawing inspiration from the founding visionaries.
