NICOLAS GIRARD

NICOLAS GIRARD is a Professor of Pulmonology at the University of Versailles Saint Quentin - Paris Saclay and Head of the Department of Medical Oncology at the Institut Curie. He coordinates the Curie-Montsouris Thorax Institute, integrating thoracic surgery, pulmonology, and thoracic oncology departments.

• Research Focus: Specializes in lung cancer and rare thoracic tumors, with expertise in perioperative immunotherapy, locally advanced lung cancers, and EGFR molecular alterations.
• Clinical Leadership: Coordinates rare thoracic tumors for the European reference network EURACAN and participates in the French RYTHMIC network for thymic tumors.
