Mustafa HAMAMCI

Asst. Prof. Dr. Mustafa HAMAMCI is affiliated with the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Iğdır University. He holds a Doctorate (2013-2019) and Master's (2010-2013) from Erciyes University, specializing in Mechanical Engineering, with a PhD thesis on functionally graded Fe/B4C composites. His research focuses on composite materials, thermal-mechanical behavior, and high-speed machining optimization.

His work includes studies on in-situ synthesized boride phases in iron matrix composites, thermal shock analysis, and microstructural characterization. He has served as Head of Department (2019) and holds administrative roles in faculty councils. He teaches courses such as Material Science, Machine Engineering, and Manufacturing Processes.

His articles highlight advancements in composite material synthesis methods and their mechanical performance under extreme conditions. He is a member of the Tribology Society and actively contributes to international conferences on materials science and tribology.
