Murthy Renduchintala

Dr. Murthy Renduchintala is an Honorary Professor at the University of Bradford's Faculty of Engineering & Digital Technologies, affiliated with the Bradford-Renduchintala Centre for Space AI. He holds a BEng, PhD (Digital Communication), and MBA from Bradford. A globally renowned technology executive, he previously served as Chief Engineering Officer and Group President at Intel Corporation, and held senior roles at Qualcomm, Skyworks Solutions, and Philips Electronics. His career spans over three decades in semiconductor, mobile, and IoT technologies.

As Honorary Professor, Renduchintala advises the Innovation & Skills Advisory Board and supports the Centre’s mission to advance AI-driven space technologies. He emphasizes integrating cutting-edge fields like quantum computing, AI, and distributed systems into space research. The Centre, partly funded by his contributions, offers MSc programs and scholarships, including £10k awards for students in Satellite Systems Engineering.

Key initiatives include developing a low-cost picosatellite for Earth orbit and collaborating with global entities like NASA, ESA, and Airbus. Renduchintala’s vision focuses on transforming space exploration through interdisciplinary innovation, aiming to address global challenges through sustainable space technologies.
