Murat Mustafa is a Lecturer in the Department of Architecture & Civil Engineering at the University of Bath, affiliated with the Centre for Sustainable Energy Systems (SES) and the Centre for Regenerative Design & Engineering for a Net Positive World (RENEW). He holds a BSc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Eastern Mediterranean University, and MSc (Distinction), MRes (Distinction), and PhD in Energy Demand Studies in Buildings from Loughborough University. His research focuses on improving energy efficiency and indoor environmental quality through experimental and numerical methods, particularly in natural/mechanical ventilation systems, thermal comfort, and airborne infection resilience.
