Muhammad Abdullah

Dr Muhammad Abdullah is a Senior Lecturer in Accounting and Finance at the University of Wolverhampton Business School, with expertise in costing, financial accounting, quantitative analysis, and asset pricing. He holds a PhD in Finance (2018) from the University of Salford and professional qualifications including ACMA CGMA, CPA Australia, and Chartered MCSI.

His research focuses on empirical asset pricing, portfolio analysis, and sustainability in accounting practices. He has presented at major international conferences including the British Accounting and Finance Association Annual Conference and the Annual International Conference on Accounting and Finance. His recent publication explores gold as a zero-beta asset in US equity markets.

Scientific awards and memberships include Fellow of the Advance HE (FHEA), Association of International Accountants (FAIA), and British Accounting and Finance Association membership. He supervises PhD students in areas related to financial markets and sustainability.
