Mudasir Mustafa

Mudasir Mustafa is an Assistant Professor of Sociology in the Department of Anthropology at the University of West Florida. His research spans criminology, environmental justice, transgender health, and poverty studies, with extensive experience in evaluating criminal justice interventions and international collaborations (including UN Office in Vienna).

His recent publications focus on:

• Health disparities and social challenges in marginalized communities
• Gender transition barriers and mental health outcomes
• Microfinance impacts on poverty and women's health
• Technology's psychological and societal effects

He supervises graduate research on topics ranging from environmental sociology to digital surveillance and civil liberties.
