Morten Risstad

Morten Risstad is an Associate Professor in the Department of Industrial Economics and Technology Management at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). He holds a PhD from NTNU and an MSc in Finance from Nord University, with additional certification as a European Financial Analyst (CEFA) from NHH.

Risstad's research focuses on empirical finance, asset pricing, derivatives, and risk management. His professional background includes positions in consulting firms, multinational industrial corporations, and financial institutions, with experience spanning financial reporting, corporate finance, trading, and risk management. He serves on the research team of the Norwegian Open AI Lab, connecting his finance expertise with emerging AI applications.
