Aditya Kaul

Aditya Kaul is an Associate Professor in the Department of Finance at the Alberta School of Business, University of Alberta. He holds a BA Economics and MBA from Delhi University, and MS Applied Economics and PhD from the University of Rochester. His research examines market microstructure, international finance, asset pricing, and volatility in financial markets.

Professor Kaul teaches courses on Trading and Financial Markets (FIN 415/615), International Financial Markets (FIN 442), and specialized graduate courses. His research investigates how financial markets operate, price formation mechanisms, and the impact of international currency fluctuations on corporate risk.

His seminal work on exchange rate variability and multinational firm risk during the Bretton Woods transition contributes to understanding how macroeconomic policy shifts affect corporate financial exposure in global markets.
