Prof. Dr. Moritz Köster is a Professor of Developmental Cognitive Psychology at the University of Regensburg. Previously, he conducted postdoctoral research at the Department of Education and Psychology’s Neurocognitive and Experimental Psychology group at Humboldt University (2021), collaborating on studies about visual object representations in infants (e.g., Xie et al., 2022). His research focuses on understanding how the brain transforms sensory input into meaningful perceptions, with particular emphasis on developmental trajectories from infancy to adulthood. He currently leads an ERC-funded project (TRANSFORM) investigating visual system development and neural processing mechanisms. Contact: moritz.koester@ur.de.
