Molly Townes O'Brien

Molly Townes O'Brien is an Associate Professor at the ANU College of Law with qualifications including an A.B. from Brown University, J.D. from Northeastern University, and LL.M. from Temple University. She holds Senior Fellow status in the Higher Education Association (SFHEA) and is a Tuckwell Fellow.

Her research examines legal education reform, trial advocacy, dispute resolution, human rights law, and law student wellbeing. She has published extensively on curriculum development and pedagogical approaches in legal education.

Recent publications focus on medical education reform, criminal justice system reform regarding brain injuries, and personal narratives of medical recovery. Her work demonstrates consistent engagement with social justice issues in legal and educational contexts.
