Mitchell Theys

Mitchell Theys is a Clinical Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Science within the College of Engineering at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He holds a Ph.D. from Purdue University (1999) and focuses on improving the undergraduate experience in computer science education. Teaching History: Extensive experience teaching courses ranging from foundational programming (CS 107, CS 109) to advanced topics in computer architecture (CS 366, CS 466, CS 566) and ethics (CS 335). Currently teaching CS 261, CS 361, and CS 362 in Spring 2025.
