Mitchell Budden

Mr Mitchell Budden is a Research Assistant and PhD Candidate at the University of Newcastle, focusing on expanding the scope of practice for pharmacists in community settings.

• Principal research areas: community pharmacy, primary health care, and knowledge translation
• Contributing to NSW Government trials on pharmacist prescribing for UTIs, oral contraception, and dermatological conditions
• Registered pharmacist with expertise in health services research and implementation science

His work aims to enhance patient access to care while elevating pharmacists' roles in Australian and international health systems. He actively serves on the Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours) External Advisory Group Committee.
