Misty Wilson

Misty Wilson is a Senior Lecturer and Communication Studies Head at the University of West Georgia's Department of Mass Communications within the School of Communication, Film, and Media. She teaches courses including Human Communication, Public Speaking, Interpersonal Communication, and Communication & Conflict. Her academic background includes an M.A. in Communication from Western Kentucky University and a Ph.D. in Communication from Texas A&M University.

Research interests focus on practical communication applications, with emphasis on gender dynamics, health communication, cultural exchange, and conflict management strategies.
