Miriam Rowntree is an Assistant Professor of Rhetoric and Writing Studies in the Department of Literature and Languages at the University of Texas at Tyler. She holds a PhD in English from the University of Texas at Arlington, where her dissertation was titled “On the Subject of Ruins: A Fractured Rhetorical Ontology.”
Her research focuses on Writing Center Studies, Writing with AI, and developmental education, particularly through her involvement in the College Readiness and Success Models grant funded by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.
