Mira T. Keddis

Mira T. Keddis is Professor of Medicine in the Division of Nephrology and Hypertension at Mayo Clinic with expertise in kidney stone management, cardiovascular risk assessment for transplant candidates, and care of Indigenous American populations. She directs the Multi-disciplinary Stone Clinic and focuses on metabolic/genetic evaluation of stone disease, oxalate nephropathy, and hyperoxaluria.

Her research examines cardiovascular biomarkers in transplant patients, cystatin C's role in graft function, and disparities in transplant access for Native Americans. Dr. Keddis holds leadership roles in medical education as Associate Dean of Faculty Affairs and teaches in the Nephrology Course at Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine.
