Mir Alikhan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of the William T. and Gay F. Solomon Division of General Internal Medicine. Originally from Hyderabad, India, he immigrated to the Dallas-Fort Worth area at age 11. He completed a bachelor's degree in biology at the University of Texas at Austin, earned his medical degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, and finished a combined internal medicine and pediatrics residency at the University of Texas at Houston.
His clinical interests focus on hospitalist medicine, preventative care, and care for underserved populations. He maintains affiliations with UT Southwestern’s leadership and the Solomon Division of General Internal Medicine.
