Minghai Fu is an Associate Professor at the School of Pharmacy, Hainan Medical University. Previously, he held key leadership roles at Inner Mongolia University for Nationalities:
- Deputy director of the National Medical Product Administration Key Laboratory of Traditional Chinese Medicine Quality Control
- Director of Mongolian Medicine Research Centre
- Deputy chair of World Federation of Chinese Medicine-Mongolian Medicine Branch
He earned his PhD in Nutrition physiology from the University of Queensland, Australia in 2017, with research conducted at INRA, France under the UQ International Scholarship.
His research focuses on the scientific validation of traditional medicine systems, particularly nutritional and pharmacological mechanisms in Mongolian and Chinese medicine. This work bridges ethnopharmacology with modern nutraceutical development through interdisciplinary laboratory and clinical approaches.

He leads the Mongolian Medicine Research Centre where his team has produced over 70 refereed papers across English, Chinese, and Mongolian languages, along with 5 books, 15 patent applications, and 2 commercialized nutraceutical products.
