Mike Gardner is an Instructor of Physical Education at Tabor College, serving as Head Football Coach and Associate Athletic Director. He holds an M.A.T. from Hastings College (1993) and a B.S. from Baker University (1990).
His expertise spans football strategy, athletic development, and wellness education. Notable recognitions include multiple KCAC Coach of the Year awards (2004, 2005, 2012, 2015) and national recognition as a Top 10 Small College Coach (2005).
He teaches courses like Adapted Physical Education and Theory of Coaching Football. His presentations focus on tactical innovations in football, such as 'Disguising Coverage Concepts' and 'Multiple Coverages vs. 2×2 & 3×1 Formations.'
