Michele Porter is a Professor at Memorial University of Newfoundland's Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. Her interdisciplinary work bridges Métis Studies, arts-based research, and rural sociology. She holds a PhD in Geography and postdoctoral training in Métis Studies from the University of Toronto and University of Guelph.
