Michelle Pedretti

Dr Michelle Pedretti is a Clinical Senior Lecturer in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the UWA Medical School, The University of Western Australia. Her clinical and research work focuses on advancing maternal-fetal medicine through ultrasound innovation and preterm birth prevention strategies, with active collaboration at King Edward Memorial Hospital as Chief Sonographer.

Her primary research domains include preterm birth prevention, cervical length screening, obstetric ultrasound, and fetal biometry. She investigates implementation challenges of cervical length screening programs, measurement consistency in transabdominal ultrasound, and validation of fetal growth charts within Australian populations.
