Michelle K. Johnston

Michelle K. Johnston serves as the Clifton A. Morvant Distinguished Professor in Business at Loyola University New Orleans' College of Business, teaching leadership and strategic communication to MBA and undergraduate students.

Her academic credentials include a Ph.D. from Louisiana State University and M.A. and B.A. degrees from Auburn University.

Dr. Johnston's research centers on leadership dynamics and communication efficacy in business environments, notably establishing a positive correlation between Team's Listening Environment (TLE) and financial performance. Her work bridges academic theory with practical executive applications, culminating in the Amazon Bestselling book The Seismic Shift in Leadership: How to Thrive in a New Era of Connection.
