Michelle D. Elleray is an Associate Professor at the College of Arts, School of Theatre, English, and Creative Writing, University of Guelph, Ontario. Her research focuses on the intersection of popular culture, empire, and missionary culture, particularly in Victorian boys’ adventure texts set in the South Pacific.
