Michelle Avila is an Associate Professor of Accounting and Chair of the Department of Business at Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU), where she also serves as Program Head of Accounting and holds CPA certification.

Research and Teaching Interests: Professor Avila specializes in Accounting Education with deep expertise in CPA exam preparation through the Becker CPA Review program. Her teaching portfolio encompasses Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting, Advanced Accounting, Ethics for Accountants, and International Business, emphasizing interactive classroom experiences that integrate ethics, values, and real-world applications from her diverse professional background.
