Katrina Cook, PhD, is a Clinical Professor and Program Director of the Counseling Program at Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU). She holds certifications as a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor (Texas) and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist-Supervisor (Texas). Her academic background includes a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from the University of Texas at San Antonio, an MA in Educational Psychology, and a BA in English from the University of Texas at Austin.
Dr. Cook’s research and teaching focus on school counseling, child/adolescent therapy, expressive arts in counseling, and clinical supervision. She emphasizes creating safe learning environments for students to develop ethical counseling skills. Her teaching philosophy prioritizes vulnerability and reflective practice in counselor training.
