Michelle A. Clark, Ph.D., serves as Dean of the Barry and Judy Silverman College of Pharmacy at Nova Southeastern University and holds the academic rank of Professor. She has been a key leader since 2001, holding roles such as Interim Dean, Executive Associate Dean, and Chair of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Her tenure has driven significant advancements, including establishing the College's Ph.D. and Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences programs. Under her leadership, the College increased scholarship funding by over 400%, now awarding $850k annually.
Dr. Clark earned her Ph.D. and M.S. in Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics from the University of South Florida. Her research focuses on cardiovascular pharmacology, particularly the renin-angiotensin system (RAS) in hypertension and its roles in other conditions like ADHD. She collaborates with the Deth and Trivedi labs on dopamine-RAS interactions in ADHD.
Committed to mentorship, she advises Ph.D. students and co-founded the Student National Pharmaceutical Sciences Association. She advocates for expanding educational opportunities and addressing health disparities through pharmacist-driven care for underserved communities.
