Michele Vialet

Michele Vialet is a Professor of French and Francophone Literatures at the University of Cincinnati. Her research spans French Classicism (17th-century novels, theater) and 20th-21st-century post-colonial literatures of the Maghreb and Rwanda. She co-authored textbooks like Bravo! and À vous d’écrire. She edits the Cincinnati Romance Review and has published extensively on topics including immigration, identity, and cultural representation.

Research Focus: Intersections of colonial history and identity in Francophone contexts, literary analysis, and language pedagogy.
