Michele Valsecchi

Michele Valsecchi is a Professor at the New Economic School, where he has been affiliated since 2017. He earned his PhD in Economics from the University of Gothenburg (2012), a Master's degree from the University of Edinburgh, and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Milano-Bicocca. His research spans development economics, political economy, and applied econometrics, with a focus on political and economic institutions, corruption, ethnic diversity, natural resources, and migration.
