Michele Lennox

Michele Lennox is a Lecturer in the Biomedical Sciences Program within the College of Health Sciences and Technology at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), where she teaches core human anatomy and physiology courses with emphasis on hands-on laboratory instruction.

Transitioning from hematology laboratory work in Rochester hospitals, Lennox specializes in integrated approaches to human anatomy and physiology education. Her teaching covers nervous, endocrine, muscular, skeletal, cardiovascular, respiratory, and gastrointestinal systems through histological examinations, anatomical dissections, and live physiology experiments. She emphasizes experiential learning in laboratory settings to connect theoretical knowledge with clinical applications.

Advising and Teaching

Lennox mentors undergraduate students through the Laboratory Teaching Assistant course (MEDS-280), training them to facilitate peer learning in anatomy and physiology labs while developing teaching skills through direct classroom support.
