Micela Tinelli is a health and care economist affiliated with LSE's Care Policy and Evaluation Centre (CPEC). She holds NIHR SSCR and NIHR ARC NT Capacity Building Fellowships in Social Care. Her research focuses on economic evaluation of adult social care, particularly for hard-to-reach populations with complex needs, and the application of choice modelling to inform policy decisions. She leads the economic analysis for the NIHR-funded HOME study, assessing housing-led systems for people experiencing homelessness (PEHs), and coordinates the ESSENCE online compendium of economic evidence in social care. Her work integrates person-centered approaches, such as developing interactive management dashboards for Crisis Charity and exploring integrated care platforms for health and social care.
