Michel Guerraz

Michel Guerraz is a University Professor at the University of Savoie Mont Blanc (USMB), serving as head of the "Body & Space" research team at the Laboratory of Psychology and NeuroCognition (LPNC, UMR CNRS) since 2019. He previously directed USMB's Psychology Department (2010-2016) and chaired the French National Council of Universities' 16th section for Psychology & Ergonomics (2015-2019).

He teaches core courses in cognitive psychology, neuropsychology, and statistical methods.

As leader of the "Body & Space" team at LPNC, he directs research exploring the neural and cognitive foundations of how humans perceive their bodies within spatial environments, maintaining active contributions to France's neuroscience research infrastructure through CNRS collaborations.
