Michael Pritchard

Dr. Michael Pritchard serves as a Senior Lecturer in the College of Technology and Aviation at Kansas State University Salina, where he designs and leads the Machine Learning and Autonomous Systems (MLAS) program. As Principal Investigator for a Department of Treasury grant, he directed the creation of three integrated laboratory ecosystems: Artificial Intelligence, Augmented/Virtual Reality, and Big Data.

His research spans Machine Learning, Autonomous Systems, and Information Sciences with specialized focus on Information Theory, Cognitive Processing, and Cybernetics. He employs advanced quantitative methodologies including k-means Clustering, Principal Component Analysis, Structural Equation Modeling, Random Forest, Artificial Neural Networks, and multivariate regression techniques. Technical expertise encompasses Python, R, SQL frameworks, and visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI.
