Michael Mike Eonta

Mr. Michael "Mike" Eonta serves as a Course Director and Instructor at the Air Force Institute of Technology's School of Systems and Logistics (AFIT/LS) at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. In this capacity, he delivers professional continuing education to military and civilian personnel across the Air Force Acquisition and Sustainment Enterprise while orchestrating day-to-day operations for logistics course creation, delivery, and evaluation for both live and distance learning venues.

As a logistician by trade with extensive practical experience, Mr. Eonta brings real-world expertise to his teaching. His background spans Maintenance, Quality Assurance, and Air Transportation, having served as the 87th Aerial Port Squadron Senior Enlisted Leader. His teaching focuses on practical applications of logistics principles within military contexts, particularly in acquisition and sustainment operations. His instruction bridges theoretical knowledge with operational realities faced by Air Force personnel.

Mr. Eonta also serves as a liaison for student and faculty issues, handling academic advising, curriculum development, budgeting, and appraisal responsibilities. His military service began with the Ohio Air National Guard in 2001, transitioning to the Air Force Reserve in 2013, while serving as a civil servant since 2010 supporting various Program Offices including Requirements & Capabilities Integration, F-15, Big Safari, Sensors Division, and Medium Altitude Unmanned Aerial Systems in roles such as Budget Analyst, Cost Estimator, Life Cycle Logistician, and Weapon System Liaison Officer.
