Michael Landsberg is a Lecturer at the RTA School of Media within Toronto Metropolitan University, where he contributes to the education of future media professionals. As a graduate of the RTA School of Media (Class of 1982), he has maintained a strong connection to the institution throughout his career.
Professionally, Landsberg is a renowned sports journalist and radio host, best known for his work at TSN. At age 27, he secured a coveted position as one of TSN's original hosts and has remained there for decades. His 18-season run with Off The Record with Michael Landsberg made it Canada's longest-running sports talk show. He gained national prominence as CTV's host during the 2010 Winter Olympics in Whistler.
Landsberg is also recognized for his mental health advocacy. In 2009, he publicly discussed his personal battle with depression on Off The Record, breaking stigma around mental health. In 2016, he launched SickNotWeak, a significant initiative that has impacted many Canadians by promoting mental health awareness and support.
