Michael J. Cripps is Professor of Rhetoric & Composition and Director of the School of Arts and Humanities at the University of New England. He serves as Editor for Across the Disciplines journal and directs both the Composition program and HuMed Program.
His research specializes in writing across disciplinary contexts and digital composition pedagogy. He received the 2005 Kairos Best Webtext Award for his work on hypertext theory and web development in composition classrooms.
Professor Cripps teaches courses in first-year writing, digital composition, and arts/humanities seminars, emphasizing the integration of technology in writing instruction.
