Michael Ingram is a Professor and Director of Forensics in the Communication Studies department at Whitworth University, serving since 1988. He also co-coaches the Ethics Bowl team. His expertise spans debate, communication ethics, First Amendment issues, and parliamentary procedure. Ingram has guided teams to national recognition in tournaments like the National Christian College Forensics Association and International Public Debate Association, including multiple national championships. He has held leadership roles such as President of the Northwest Forensics Conference (2020–2022), Editor of the Journal of the International Public Debate Association (2020–present), and chaired steering committees for the Northwest Regional Ethics Bowl.
