Michael Hofmann is a Professor and Director of the MFA@FLA program at the University of Florida. He specializes in poetry, literary translation, and German literature, with notable works including translations of Franz Kafka and Joseph Roth. His publications include Selected Poems (2009), One Lark, One Horse (2018), and the 2020 Clarendon Lectures Messing About in Boats.
