Michael Foster

Michael Foster is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Mechanical, Civil, and Biomedical Engineering at George Fox University. He joined the faculty in 2007 after earning his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University.

His teaching and research focus on thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and computational modeling, with a particular emphasis on integrating these areas in technical applications. He also explores leadership principles and pedagogical approaches to enhance learning.
