Walter Yuen

Walter Yuen is a Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Santa Clara University's School of Engineering. He brings over 40 years of teaching experience, including 34 years at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) and 5 years at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). He joined Santa Clara University in September 2016.

Research Focus: His expertise spans thermal-fluid sciences, with emphasis on heat transfer mechanisms, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics. Courses taught include undergraduate thermodynamics (ME 121), fluid mechanics (ME 122), heat transfer (ME 123), and graduate radiative heat transfer (ME 240/241).
